Mac Millan Again Named Rookie-of-the-Week

For the third time this season, freshman Kim Mac Millan was named Northeast Conference Rookie-of-the Week.In two games from Jan. 13-15, the 5'7" point guard averaged 23.5 points and 7.5 rebounds in leading the Blackbirds to their first two-game winning streak under head coach Patty Delehanty.

A native of Toms River, NJ, Mac Millan currently leads the team and ranks high among NEC leaders in several categories, including scoring (19.5 ppg), rebounding (6.3 rpg) and assists (3.2 apg). Her 3.2 three-point makes per game ranks her fifth in the nation. Mac Millan is shooting a blistering .394 (41-104) from beyond the arc.

Mac Millan was LIU's female Athlete-of-the Month for December.
