Kelly Tied For Eighth After First Round of Drew Upton Classic

4/1/06 -- Junior Patrick Kelly (Brisbane, Australia) shot a one-under-par 71 to tie for eighth place after day one of the Drew Upton Towson Golf Classic in Salisbury, Md.

Kelly finished the front nine in 35 (-1) and completed the back at even par 36 to complete his round.

Austin Luher of Army shot a 67 (-5) to take a one stroke lead heading into the final round, which begins on Sunday, April 3.

The University of Richmond finished the day at 283 and holds the overall team lead by two shots over Binghamton University. LIU stands two shots behind the University of Delaware at 309.
