Matt Wilson Named Northeast Conference Men's Golfer of the Week |

Wilson shot a two-round score of 146, including a 72 on the first day, to lead Long Island to a second-place finish at the competitive Army Mulekicker Classic at West Point, NY last weekend. Wilson finished fourth individually. Rutgers University won the event with a 592, followed by LIU’s 603. On the season, Wilson ranks second on the squad with a 73.8 stroke average and has finished in the top five in each of the last two tournaments (5th place - St. Bonaventure). The Blackbirds continue their fall season on Oct. 14-15 at the
NBT Bank Classic, hosted by Binghamton University.
