Lopes and Wilde Finish Fourth and Fifth, respectively, at the CCSU Invite

10/8-9/04 -- Long Island University finished tied for fifth at the Central Connecticut State Invitational in New Britain, Conn. this past weekend. The field featured 12 teams.

Veronica Lopes (Mississauga, Ontario) closed the tournament carding 76 in the opening round and 86 on Saturday to finish a season-best fourth.

Teammate Shauna Wilde (Mississauga, Ontario) finished fifth in the two-day event (82-81--163).

LIU returns to action October 15-16 at the Hofstra Fall Invitational at Bethpage State Park-Red Course in Farmingdale, N.Y.
