Shauna Wilde finishes tied for 12th at the Virginia Beach Invitational

11/8/04 --Senior Shauna Wilde (Mississauga, Ontario) carded 161 and finished tied for 12th for Long Island at the Virginia Beach Invitational in Virginia Beach.

Wilde shot 77 in Sunday's opening round before closing Monday with 84. Senior Veronica Lopes (Mississauga, Ontario) ended tied for 17th with 165, including an opening round 79.

Tracey Chew (Sacramento, Calif.) finished with 176 and fellow senior Amy Kitchen (Staten Island, N.Y.) shot 181 in the season-ending tournament for LIU.

Their efforts helped the Blackbirds finish eighth in the championship.
