Also registered two assists on the campaign ... Had two goals, including game-winner in 4-0 triumph at Fordham (9/13) ... Also netted a score in 4-0 victory versus Sacred Heart (10/25) ... Assisted on score in third game of season, at Temple (9/5) ... Added assist on lone goal in 2-1 loss at nationally-ranked Wake Forest ... Helped the Blackbirds tie the school record with six straight shutouts, a streak which lasted 621 minutes, eight seconds.

In 2002: Received a medical redshirt.

As a Freshman in 2001: Started all 17 games he appeared in... Led LIU defenders and placed fifth on the team in scoring with three goals and an assist... Tallied the game-tying goal in the 86th minute against St. Francis (PA) (9/30)... Scored his second goal of the campaign to tie the score vs. Quinnipiac (10/6)... Posted the lone LIU goal in a 2-1 loss at UMBC (10/14)... The Blackbirds were 0-2 in games he did not play, including the NEC final against Fairleigh Dickinson (11/11).

High School/Personal: Attended Magnus Albergsgymnasiet in his native Trollhattan, Sweden... Played club soccer with Trollhattans F.K., where he was a center back and center midfielder... Son of Morgan and Ann-Marie Stigh... Has one brother... A Journalism major with a 3.89 GPA.
