Earns Softball All-America Honors

Long Island first baseman Randi Gillespie (San Jose, Calif.)
became the second player in school history to be named an All-American
as she was named to the Easton All-American Second Team by
Easton Sports on Monday.
The senior earned All-America
honors following a season which saw her set LIU single-season
records in batting average (.443), hits (81) and doubles
(16), and also break career marks in hits (195), home runs
(28), total bases (314) slugging percentage (.626) and on-base
