Cross Country Runs in ECAC Championships

11/21/05 -- The Long Island University men's cross country team participated in the ECAC/IC4A Championships on Saturday, Nov. 19 at Van Cortlandt park in the Bronx, N.Y.

Indalias Mendez (Puerto Rico) led the men for the first time this season with a time of 29:13.3. Shakir Wilford (Atlanta, Ga.) ended with a time of 30:48.

Manhattan College's Tyler Raymond took first place in the 5K event with a time of 25:24.6.

Army took home the team title with a score of 47 followed by Marist, Brown, and New Hampshire. .
