Blackbirds Compete at UAlbany Invite

10/14/06 -- The Long Island University cross country team competed at the 40th Annual UAlbany Cross Country Invitational, with Aniecia Williams (St. Thomas, Virgin Islands) turning in a team-best time of 21:00.9. The freshman finished 121st.

Junior Crista Strachan (Grand Bahama, Bahamas) crossed the finish line with a time of 21:18.9, while classmate Leslie Conley (Baltimore, Md.) finished in 21:47.2. Junior Crystal Strachan (Grand Bahama, Bahamas) recorded a 24:57.0 and freshman Joyce Atagwe (Latham, Md.) finished in 26:19.6.

The Blackbirds will return to action on Saturday, Oct. 21, at the CCSU Blue Devil Invitational.
