Floyd Mayne competes for Cross Country at the NCAA Northeast Regional

11/13/04 -- Senior Floyd Mayne (Uniondale, N.Y.) competed today for Long Island at the NCAA Northeast Regional in the Bronx, N.Y.

Mayne ran in 33:15.1 to close 94th among 233 runners. It was another strong performance for Mayne, who finished fourth at the Northeast Conference Championship on October 30.

Mayne has put together an impressive season, winning back-to-back NEC Athlete-of-the-Week honors and capturing the Central Connecticut State Mini-Meet on October 23.
