New York, N.Y. - The Long Island University women's basketball team defeated Columbia, 58-55. A last-second three-point attempt by Katherine Goodwin fell short for the Lions, giving the Blackbirds a come-from-behind win. Connie James finished with 16 points, as did Ashley Palmer.
