Women's Soccer Drops 1-0 Decision at Binghamton

8/28/05 -- Long Island University dropped a 1-0 overtime decision at Binghamton on Sunday afternoon. The Blackbirds (1-1) played their second straight overtime contest in as many games.

Forward Danielle White notched the game-winner in the 99th minute on a deflection.

The Blackbirds (1-1) outshot the Bearcats, 5-0 in the first half. Binghamton, however, posted a 10-3 shot advantage in the second and overtime stanzas.

Sophomore Felicia Amaral posted three saves in the loss. Senior Jackie McCormick paced the squad with three shots, two on goal.

The Blackbirds entertain Drexel on Saturday, September 3 at 2:00 p.m.
